The Old Pecan Street Cafe is located in a Historic Landmark building which lies at the center of Austin’s famous Sixth Street district. The building was erected by J.W. Simpson in 1905 for his new hardware store. The limestone rubble walls of the structure were originally part of the Radcliffe Platt Livery dating back to 1872. In 1972, the Old Pecan Street Cafe opened its doors and has been thrilling guests with its unique menu and ambiance ever since.


They are within a few blocks of many downtown hotels, the convention center, and many of Austin’s premiere nightclubs. In this setting they offer first-class dining with a historic ambiance and menus that deliver a French twist that is subtle yet enticing, be sure to try one of their legendary deserts made fresh daily.


A Night at Esther’s Follies – an Austin Tradition!

Esther’s Follies is a modern day vaudeville theatre located on 6th Street in downtown Austin, Texas.¬†Music, Comedy, and Magic are the three key ingredients in Esther’s Follies’ 35th season on Sixth Street. Add political satire, scandals in the news, musical production numbers, and stir!

The group is named after actress Esther Williams.¬† Acts incorporate magic, juggling, singing, dancing, and sketches on current events. The show is fast paced, and most of the acts incorporate both music and comedy. Esther’s Follies is an Austin tradition that is not to be missed!


Pub Crawl on 6th Street

After Esther’s Follies you will be free to stroll along Austin’s famous 6th Street and sample some of the amazing variety among the numerous clubs, pubs and live music venues that help to make Austin the “music capital of the world.” Buses will return to the hotel at 11:30pm.
